You Have to Hear This

I will never forget Harvest Homecoming 2006. I was mingling with the crowd when who should appear from the other direction? Mr. Baron Hill. He obviously was not interested in answering any questions, only in making a quick appearance in the south. After an attempt to have him answer a question about a television commercial that he was airing was brushed off, he was ushered off by his handlers while I explained to him that he was a liar. A quirky smile was all I got in return. I have know for many years that this man is rude and carries a persona of being above the constituency in which he claims to serve. Now there is audible proof.

Follow this link to one of my favorite sites and listen to ole Baron himself in Sellersburg. Pass this along to all you know.

One more thing....as of today, the fight is on. I pledge to do all that I can to put Mike Sodrel back in office and I am asking you to do the same.

I'm fascinated by your logic.

You call a man a liar to his face in one breath, and in the next you call him rude.

So I listened to the recording, and am still trying to figure out at what point does it become such a scandal?

Then I remembered that if the right-wing is good at anything, it's feigning outrage. Just look at last week's monumental display of infantile hissy-fitting on the part of GOP Representatives such as Boehner and Cantor when they blamed the failure of the original bailout bill on big bad Nancy Pelosi because she was just so darn mean to them.

Whether or not I agree with the bailout bill or not (something that, based on what I have read from you, we seem to actually agree on) is not the point. That these are the same types of guys that tout themselves as the only folks tough enough to destroy the Terrorists and save us from the gravest threats we've ever faced, are so easily punked-out by a Nancy from San Fransisco, is.
