Barack can bag it up and that aint Good

by Daniel Short

Barack Obama has a unique chance on Tuesday to put the Democrat Presidential race out of reach. He is polling up over double digits against Hillary and the lead is growing everyday. He definitely has the big "MO" on his side and here is how I see things coming down. First, Obama wins New Hampshire by 14, heads south and eats up South Carolina and Florida. Hillary's contributions start to dry up and the prose of Barack continues to ooze change to the American left. How can Barack win so big in New Hampshire? Over 40% of voters are independents and can choose which party they will vote for in the primary right before they enter the booth. A lot of independents have polled for McCain, but will choose to rock the boat by making a statement for Obama. I fear that what is left is an even stronger Barack with enough money to ride it out.

This all has great implications on the Republican side of things. If the Democrats rally around Obama this early and the right struggles through super Tuesday without a true leader, valuable time will be lost. National polls show Rudy and Huckabee tied at 19%, Romney at 17%, McCain at 15% and Thompson at 14%. This is a dangerous scenario for the GOP.

Now let's remember that Bill lost the first five states in 1992 before going on to take the nomination and the White House. So maybe Hillary can drag it out long enough to slow the "O" train. Will Hillary take the VP job. Oh you betcha she will. If she doesn't, that's it for her. If she does, she still becomes the first woman to hold that office and will be 69 years old in eight years. That is three years younger than McCain is now. An Obama/Clinton ticket will probably wrap it up, unless we see a McCain/Lieberman ticket. Then there is Mayor Bloomberg! OK let's not get ahead of ourselves! Whew

When we said anyone but Hillary, we didn't exactly have Barack Obama in mind.

It was noted on tv today that Barack has been a Senator for about 3 yrs and has spent roughly 1.5 of those yrs running for President. You cannot find out much about him except for what you hear from him on the stump. Reporters/Journalists are frustrated with him because he runs from interviews. His experience is in what...running?

Hillary is the most calculating woman I've ever seen. She's shrewd and has a very dangerous agenda for America. One that I know, if American's were aware of, would scare the bejeebers out of us all! As I've stated over and over again...and was just affirmed by Dick Morris, Hillary Clinton is a European socialist. If America doesn't understand what that would mean for America then they should study the European tax and health care systems.

What experience does Hillary bring to the table? Her husband? When I've seen Bill talk about Hillary...I have a tough time believing that he really wants to see his wife as President. She's controversial, she's a danger to our values in America. She's not equipped to be our president, as pointed out today when she became tearful. I'm sorry but I can just see the embarrassment when she's meeting with the heads of state, from other countries, and breaks out the tears because she's tired and frustrated because the meeting isn't going her way. I know y'all probably think the tears were spontaneous but I don't happen to think so. I think she's a ruthless, vindictive woman who will do anything to get what she wants. If they tell her showing her emotions works...she'll use tears...and did. I'm not impressed.

I'm sick to death of the constant bi-partisan bickering that goes on in Congress, regardless of who heads it. I can think of 4 Dems who need to go asap: Kennedy, Clinton, Reid and Pelosi. They, as well as the Democrat party, are in the back pocket of George Soros (moveon.org) and Hollywood. They dictate the Democrat agenda, which explains the erosion of family values and morals today. The Dems, in Congress, aren't interested in getting the people's work done. They're all about election results. It's a win-lose game for them...that's all...political football. Meanwhile WE pay their salaries/perks and have to sit back and listen to this crap.

Personally I think that the Clinton's, Soros and Hollywood have systematically destroyed the Democrat party, as we know it. Joe Lieberman, Zell Miller and today Bill Richardson have voiced their complaints about the current direction of the Democrat party. The Democrat party today is not the same party of John F. Kennedy. That's too bad.

Meanwhile...I'll continue to sit here watching this junk on tv...shaking my head...and fire off my e-mails to Congress.

That's enough of my ramblings...

Well said...except I don't think Hillary got emotional because she was told to, I think it hit her that she's LOSING!!

As for Obama, when is the truth going to come out about him? Read this article:

Obama_Church_Racism/2008/01/07/62285.html

He and the church he attends strongly support the BLACK VALUE SYSTEM. What???? Can you imagine if one of the white candidates supported a White Value System...oh my...their campaign would have been over before it started! The nation would be in outrage!

Debbie, I understand why you think that she had a sincere emotional moment. I know that if that were me, in that moment, the eyes would be blinking like crazy to fight back tears (which I didn't see a one). She almost had me convinced that she was sincere UNTIL she picked up her microphone and went right into her stump speech. It was at that moment that I kicked myself for almost falling for her li'l gimmick. It might have worked, for me, had she not done that. I don't put ANYTHING past her...nothing...zilch! Clinton and their cronnies, Pelosi, Reid, Kennedy, etc., have been bad mouthing Bush for 7 years now...and acting like they're demon possessed. I don't know about anyone else but every time she opens her mouth that's what I hear...conniving and mean spirited. I wish they'd pack it up and move to the UK. But I was told last night by a Brit that her press isn't good there either and that Europe doesn't care for her. A woman with a country!? haha!

Bill Clinton says that "Obama is a fairy tale". What Bill won't tell us is that Hillary is a nightmare! Hillary keeps saying we need C H A N G E...well personally I don't think America needs or will want the kind of change Hillary has to offer "from day one".

It's been my prayer, for awhile now, that God would reveal her for what she is...and I'll be adding Obama to that list. I worry about his supporters.

Who blindly follows a guy like Obama without knowing much about him?

Kool-aid drinkers!

That's my thoughts

TRADITIONAL VERSION:

The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.

Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed. The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.

MODERN VERSION:

The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.

Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the ant should be warm and well fed while others are cold and starving.

CBS, NBC, PBS, CNN, and ABC show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food.

America is stunned by the sharp contrast. How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?

Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper, and everybody cries when they sing, 'It's Not Easy Being Green.'

Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton stage a demonstration in front of the ant's house where the news stations film the group singing, 'We shall overcome.'

Jesse then has the group kneel down to pray to God for the grasshopper's sake.

Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry, & Harry Reid exclaim in an interview with Larry King that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share.

John Edwards leads the presidential candidates in pointing out the plight of the grasshopper as the legacy of the current administration.

Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity and Anti-Grasshopper Act retroactive to the beginning of the summer!

The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the government.

Hillary Clinton gets her old law firm to represent the grasshopper in a defamation suit against the ant, and the case is tried before a panel of federal judges that Bill Clinton appointed and a juror list of single-parent welfare recipients.

The ant loses the case.

The story ends as we see the grasshopper finishing up the last bits of the ant's food while the government house he is in, which just happens to be the ant's old house, crumbles around him because he doesn't maintain it.

The ant has disappeared in the snow on the way to another land to start a new life again!!!

The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the once peaceful neighborhood.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Be careful how you vote in 2008

If it really were true, and Clinton really were a European socialist ... well, I reckon I'd be voting for her.

We could use some of that Euro health care, or maybe just the Euro itself, seeing as the dollar is good for nothing except the value menu at one of several multinational food processing corporations.

As I stated before, "If America doesn't understand what that would mean for America then they should study the European tax and health care systems."

Your statement reminds me of someone who would say, I don't believe in God! I don't believe in Heaven or Hell and I don't believe in Jesus! He dies...goes to Hell and then cries out, Wait a minute!!! I change my mind, I DO believe in God...when it's just too late to change it.

It's all about the facts, Mr. New Albanian.
