Khadafi Has Best Idea of the Week

In his rambling and incoherent speech to the United Nations, Libyan leader Momar Khadafi (does anyone really know how to spell his name?) managed one little gem in a sea of blabbering. He suggested to the world that the United Nations should move its headquarters from New York City to Libya to save on the cost of travel and to reduce pollution from the posh jets that the world's elite fly in. Hmm...move the U.N. to Libya? Brilliant. Of course, I would have said the same thing if Chavez had wanted to move the corrupt, ineffective and incompetent association to his back yard. Move it anywhere, anywhere but here. While we are at it, let's also stop contributing millions of dollars of tax payer money to the U.N. Do these two things and see just how long this organization exists or turns into a playground for despot regimes. Well, maybe that is a bad example.

It's because languages with different alphabets than ours don't always lend themselves to easy translation into our letters and pronunciations.

I know. Rational, real world explanations like that don't help you in your quest to scoff at the non-Christian world, but it's true, nonetheless.

Thanks for the explanation Roger. There are just so many different spellings out there, so I decided to use the one I found on World Net Daily...lol.

Nice idea...I like moving the U.N.
As to the spelling...
I've seen:
Gadaffi
Khadafi
Gadhafi

Any way you spell it, the guy's still a real "hoot".

PS: saw the NJ video..I linked to a similar one done earlier.
